New York State Agriculture Commissioner Patrick Hooker today alerted consumers that Pats Exotic Beverages Inc., located at 2919 Tiemann Avenue, Bronx, New York, is recalling all packages of “Carrot Juice” beverage, “Carrot Beet” beverage, “Carrot Lime” beverage and “Cucumber” beverage, because the products have been determined to be inadequately processed and may contain food borne pathogens.
Food borne pathogens can cause a variety of symptoms including vomiting, abdominal cramps, nausea and diarrhea, fever, headaches, muscle buy cheap Ditropan online pain or weakness, or death.
The recalled “Carrot Juice” beverage, “Carrot Beet” beverage, “Carrot Lime” beverage and “Cucumber” beverage were sold from retail outlets in the NYC metro area. All packages and codes of these products are subject to the recall.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.
The potential for contamination was discovered after an inspection conducted by New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Food Inspectors found the products were manufactured without the required processes in place to control food borne pathogens. Sales of the products have been suspended.
Consumers who have purchased containers of “Carrot Juice” beverage, “Carrot Beet” beverage, “Carrot Lime” beverage and “Cucumber” beverage, are urged to discard the product or return the product to the place of purchase.

Rising Dough Bakery of Sacramento, California is voluntarily recalling all Rising Dough Brand Individual Wrapped Cranberry Muffins, because it contains undeclared Walnuts. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to Walnuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The Cranberry Muffins were distributed nationwide and sold in retail stores.
The product is a 4 oz. Individually Wrapped Muffin topped with Streusel Crumbs. The product is incorrectly labeled on the bottom and doesn’t identify Walnuts in the Allergen list. The UPC on this label is 0 48055 41359 8.

Hostess Recalls Chocolate Chip Mini Muffins Unlabeled Allergen

The recall involves Hostess® Mini Muffins (Chocolate Chip variety) 4-packs of five muffins each with the UPC 45000-60703 and “best by Oct. 31.”
Hostess initiated the recall after it was discovered that operator error during production caused some Banana Nut Mini Muffins to be inadvertently inserted into the Chocolate Chip Mini Muffin packaging.
